What is Large Language Model?

A large language model (LLM) is a machine-learning system trained on vast text data to generate and interpret language with contextual understanding.

LLMs increasingly assist hiring: summarising CVs for recruiters, drafting job descriptions, scoring application essays, and powering candidate-facing feedback tools. They can infer relevance when wording differs from the job ad — beyond literal keyword overlap.

Limits remain. LLMs hallucinate, reflect training biases, and should not be treated as oracle hiring decisions. Regulated employers may restrict fully automated rejection based solely on model output.

Candidates can use LLMs responsibly to refine phrasing or brainstorm bullet improvements, but must verify facts and maintain authentic voice. Fabricated experience is unethical and risky at interview.

Cvaluate applies LLM-based analysis to show how your CV might be interpreted against a role, combining semantic understanding with practical checklist feedback.
